Dilapidation Project
We were recently awarded a full dilapidation project in the West Midlands.
Our goal? To return this industrial unit back to its original as-built condition after the outgoing tenant vacated.
From day one, we took full responsibility for the property. One of the first priorities was security.
We engaged specialist security contractors to provide an around-the-clock presence — ensuring the building remained protected, monitored, and fully secure throughout the entire process.
Once the site was secure, our next step was the full strip-out of all tenant-installed items.
This included everything from office furniture like desks and chairs, through to tenant-installed distribution boards, racking systems, and any alterations made during their occupancy.

Design Concept Philosophy
With the space cleared, we moved into reinstatement. We replaced damaged flooring, repaired surfaces, and made good all decorations. Every detail was checked against the original site drawings to make sure the building was brought fully back to its as-built design. The result is a fully reinstated industrial unit, ready for handover — and delivered to the standard MEID Projects are known for.
