Workplace Transformation

MEID Projects delivered a comprehensive internal refurbishment of a commercial office facility in Lutterworth, transforming an outdated workspace into a modern, bright, and functional environment ready for immediate occupation.

The project centred around a complete redecoration of all internal walls and woodwork. Existing finishes featured bold and heavily dated colour schemes, including deep purples and vibrant oranges, which were carefully prepared and overcoated to create a fresh, contemporary appearance. The completed design incorporated crisp white walls complemented by grey skirtings, architraves, and doors, significantly enhancing the overall aesthetic of the space.

Flooring throughout the building was also upgraded, with existing carpet tiles and vinyl finishes removed and replaced where required to provide a clean, durable, and professional finish. In addition, four kitchenette areas were fully replaced with new installations, improving both functionality and appearance for future occupants.

To further enhance the longevity and maintenance of the facility, white hygienic wall cladding was installed in high-traffic areas throughout the building. This robust, easy-to-clean finish provides increased protection against scuffs, impacts, and general wear and tear, while supporting improved cleanliness standards and maintaining the fresh appearance of the newly refurbished interiors.

Design Concept Philosophy

To complete the transformation, MEID Projects supplied and installed new office furniture, including desks, chairs, and storage cabinets, delivering a fully refreshed and operational workspace. The result was a striking modernisation of the facility, creating a bright, welcoming, and practical working environment while significantly increasing the appeal and usability of the space.

The refurbishment included the complete redecoration of all internal walls and woodwork, replacing bold, dated colour schemes with a clean, contemporary finish of crisp white walls complemented by grey skirtings, architraves and doors. Existing carpet tiles and vinyl flooring were replaced where required, creating a durable, professional finish throughout the building.

We also installed four new kitchenette areas, enhancing the functionality and comfort of the workspace for future occupants. To improve durability and simplify ongoing maintenance, white hygienic wall cladding was fitted in high-traffic areas, providing a robust, easy-to-clean surface that protects against everyday wear while helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance.
